Long-range shooting is a lot of fun but not everyone has had the luxury of getting professional training to shoot out past 1000 yards. NETT hosts precision rifle classes twice a month in order to bring students up to the MODERN Standard of Long-Range shooting. A lot has changed in the last 20 years, this course will get you up to speed. This is by FAR the best deal in the Metroplex. You will not find any other course that can get you shooting this far, this fast, and is this affordable. We can guarantee you will get hits out to 1000yds, and if your equipment is capable, you will get on steel out to 1200yds and even 1500yds or a Mile.
This course is unique in the way we present the material. Whether you are brand new to shooting and have never shot past 100yds, or you routinely shoot long-range, you will pick up the concepts that are commensurate with your existing knowledge and excel from there. The vast majority of students have never shot past 200yds and they routinely get 1st-round hits @ 1000yds. Beginners will pick up the basic fundamentals; more knowledgeable shooters will pick on up the more complex topics.
The course will cover everything you need to know to shoot at distance, as well as more in-depth wind and mirage reading strategies and techniques. The wind is the #1 cause of misses at long-range so there is added emphasis on that. This course also goes more in-depth on setting up and using your Ballistic Solver and truing it at extended ranges for increased hit probability. After some time in the classroom going over gear, equipment, wind, mirage, and ballistics, we confirm zero, verify muzzle velocity with a chronograph, calculate your ballistic solutions, shoot the qualifier, and push out to 1-Mile or as far as your scope will let you go. Shooters can then spend the rest of the time ringing steel on their own.
At the end of this course, Shooters will be able to take what they learned and apply it anywhere in the world they go to shoot.
We do have rental rifles available with ammo, so don't let equipment keep you from getting in on this.
This is not the same as some of the 3-5 day Precision Rifle courses that are out there. There are no "filler" blocks of instruction to burn time that have nothing to do with shooting LR. This course will get you qualified to shoot on the range safely so you can practice and build on your skillset.
We offer private 1 on 1 training during the week. We can do individuals or groups. Contact us to go over your needs and set up a time. If your equipment is capable, we will have you out to 1-Mile in no time.

The “Next Step License to Carry” Intro Class literally picks up where the LTC shooting qualification leaves off. Students are already at the range and often eager to learn something useful. This 1.5 hour block of instruction is an add-on course to your LTC qual. This beginner-friendly course teaches how to safely draw from a holster, introduces tactical and emergency reloading drills, refines grip, trigger control, and recoil management. (Note: this is an add-on course for the LTC qual. For the complete "Next Step (Level 1)" 4-hour course, see the Next Step tab in the "Training" tab dropdown menu)

With Texas passing Constitutional Carry recently, there are going to be tons of people who will just now begin to consider carrying a firearm for protection. Maybe you don't think it is worth the time or trouble to get an LTC Permit but you know you still need SOME kind of training.
NETT will be filling that gap with some Pistol Fundamental and Proficiency Training Classes. We can cater to the individual who has never shot a gun before, or the one who has been shooting their whole life and just wants to sharpen their skills.
Our "Next Step" class was designed for LTC students who get their license but realize the LTC course itself is seriously lacking in the way of implementation of your firearm should you actually have to use it. You do not have to have an LTC permit to take our "Next Step" courses. This will be exactly the training most new gun owners/carriers will be looking for anyway.
If you do want some private 1-on-1 training so you can go at your own pace, we can do that too, and build you a customized training course to suit your needs. Just send us a message or give us a call to discuss it.
Contact us for any 1-on-1 or group training you would like to discuss.
We are available for corporate events and training during the week. We can accommodate Government, Military, or Police training, corporate team-building events, leasing the range for private functions, or leasing the range to other firearms instructors.
We have an assortment of long rifles, short rifles, pistols and shotguns, along with ammo and everything you will need to make the most of your event.
