This club’s purpose is to safely promote the shooting sports while offering North Texas an experience like none other. NETT is a service-connected disabled veteran-owned and operated range that started by the need for a place near DFW to safely shoot long distance. It is a friendly atmosphere where shooters help shooters. This is a good opportunity to meet new people from across the metro-plex who share your same passions and interests. This is a private, members-only range and is for shooters who have at least a basic knowledge of ballistics and firearm handling skills. It is for both the hobbyist and the professional and will have plenty of targets to challenge both. Due to the unique layout and design of the range, each member will have to qualify and show a high level of competence before firing on the long-range. This is a no-nonsense rifle range for precision rifles. A Mosin Nagant or an AK with a "gun show special" scope will not cut it.
We have almost 100 steel targets out to 1-Mile with more soon to come!
When the weather allows for it, we also have Target Cameras set up at the 1500yd and 1-Mile targets. The shooter simply logs in to the WiFi and can see their hits on their phone or tablet.
The rifle range goes out to a mile with known distance targets at every 100yds. Each target has its own backstop and offers some way of visual feedback when hit. Targets past 900 yds have LED Flashing hit indicators. The firing line is a 20' covered shooting tower. This greatly mitigates mirage and allows the shooter to see every target on the range from their shooting position. It is large enough to accommodate shooters and spotters/spectators.
This range is dedicated to rimfire calibers and air rifles, and goes out to 300yds. There are many props commonly seen in PRS matches available for use or practice. We also run PRS Rimfire matches the first Saturday of the month. There are 2 decks on the Rimfire Range, an upper and lower. Each level offers different looks and barricades/props for you to hone your skill.
Right now there are 75+ steel targets ranging from 50yds out to 300yds. There is an array of targets every 50yds and several targets in between.
Our 100yd flat range is a tactical-style range where you can practice moving while shooting, reloads, rapid-fire (aimed), transition drills, and positional shooting. We have a covered firing line with benches at 100yds but you can move anywhere up range to shoot as well. All permissible firearms are allowed on the 100yd range including Rifles, Pistols, Shotguns, Rimfire, & Muzzleloaders.
The 100yd range has some steel targets and backers for paper or zero targets.
We have 3 pistol bays chaulked-full of steel targets. There is an assortment of static steel targets as well as falling steel, plate racks, and a Texas Star. The pistol bays are action bays as well. You can draw from the holster, shoot while moving, conduct reloads, utilize cover, and transition from your PCC (pistol caliber carbine) to your pistol. There is also room for paper or cardboard targets if you want to run some drills.
Shotguns with birdshot are allowed on the pistol bay.
This is NOT an all-inclusive list of rules, just some of the highlights. Members must read the Member's Orientation once they arrive, which outlines the full list of rules and policies.

Members wishing to shoot on the 1-Mile range must pass a qualifier. This consists of demonstrating technical proficiency by answering a few questions from the Range Safety Officer and showing the member can shoot safely out to 700 yds. Members will be asked to hit 5 full-size IPSC targets from 300-700 yds. in sequential order. They will be allowed 7 rounds to do so. Failure to complete the qualifier will result in the member not being allowed to shoot the long range. It is mandatory that the member have some kind of ballistic solver app or some other device equipped with a ballistic solver. We offer a quick and affordable Intro to Modern LR course for those who can not pass or don't think they can pass the qualifier. The course gets you spun up to the modern standard of LR shooting and you will pass the qualifier as part of the course.
